The standard home inspection is conducted in accordance with the industry accepted Standards of Practice. The visual inspection covers the following systems: structure, exterior, roof, plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, interior, insulation and ventilation, and fireplaces.
For added value, the client may choose to include an Infrared thermography inspection as part of the home inspection.Discovery will coordinate the booking of the thermographer on behalf of the client. In the case of a rural property, Discovery can also arrange for a septic tank installation inspection.

Notes:
- These fees are based on a personalized home inspection report delivered via e-mail. Should a client request an electronic copy on CD or a paper copy, an additional fee of $50 shall apply to cover shipping and handling.
- The fees are based on a maximum onsite time of 3 hours. Should the actual time required to complete the inspection exceed this baseline, the supplementary time will be charged at $50 per hour.
- In the case of TARION 30-day or year-end inspections of a single family home, an additional fee of $50 shall apply.
- HST applies to all services.
